I went to Helsinki club here in Ottawa last night to see the Toronto resident DJ Sean Miller. This guy has been touring with Steve Lawler and he holds a residency at club Sonic, which is the old Boa nightclub. His WMC Miami 2006 demo has been out for a while now, but check it out here . I was impressed with his playing, his sets are deep and progressive and always has a couple massive tunes. I was suprised to find out he's a nice guy, its hard to find superstar DJs that are down to earth.

I'll have this week's show online soon with tracklists and I have a new demo in the works.

Disconnected Mix

So this blog is primarily for my show Broken Beats, to post sets and tracklists, and I dont wanna turn this into a music blog like all the others out there. But I gotta pass this on, its the Disorganised crew from Ottawa, and they put out a new mix, its pretty bumpin, I've been listening to this mix all week. The mix incorporates some good electro sounds and some newer rock influenced electro and a mix of some other styles. They do two monthly events here in Ottawa, so if you live in the area, def go check them out.

So I had a guest on my show this week, the one and only Doc Funk. He plays on techno.fm monday nights from 8-10pm and you can also check him out at various parties around the 514 area including the extremely popular Mad-Luv parties at Living Nightclub. Word on the street is trance legend John O'Bir is coming to a loft near you and Doc Funk will open with a special trance set. Details to come later.

Montreal Mirror - Best Radio Station
